PISA is pleased to announce it's 5th Annual Christmas FIFA Futsal Tournament over the Holiday Season!
Our 5 v 5 tourney is designed to give you the most amount of fun, at a minimal cost.
Each team will play a minimum of 3-20 minute games, with Playoffs for the top teams.

All Champions will be awarded trophies and the runner-ups will be awarded medals.

Futsal Rules
(Rules that differ from soccer)
Games are 20 min.
Each team is allowed a 1 min. time out. Teams must stay on field – Coach must remain off field.
Subs on the fly but must wait until player has left field at correct exit point.
Player can score form a kick off
Free Kicks: If a free kick is awarded in penalty area Defending team can take awarded free kick anywhere inside area. Indirect free kicks are taken from penalty line nearest infraction if awarded in opponent’s penalty area.
For first 5 fouls a wall may be placed 6 yards. from infraction point.
6th and subsequent fouls – no wall- everyone must be behind ball. All direct kicks must be on goal after 6th foul. –no passing.
4 second rule - Keeper must throw all restarts within 4 secs. of pick up ball. Cannot handle ball more than 4 secs. All kick-ins must be taken within 4 secs of picking up ball
Players cannot pass back to goalkeeper unless receiving ball in opponents area from keeper (-and then no kicking allowed- only head or thigh)
All opposing players must be at least 6 yards. from any restart. Infractions result in caution.
There is no contact between players prior to touching the ball. Players can shield ball but not using hands or arms.
Goalkeeper throws all balls and cannot throw over half way line without the ball making contact with the floor in their own half first.
There are no off-sides.

PISA WANTS TO TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLACE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FAIR PLAY UPON THE ATHLETES. IT IS THE COACHES RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THE ATHLETES ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE RULES AS THE ATHLETES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INTEGRITY OF THE GAME. COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ADJUDICATING ANY DISCREPANCIES.
1. Ejected players will not play in the team’s next game.
2. Any player or coach receiving another card violation (red or yellow) who already has a red card will be ejected from the tournament. A player or coach who has a yellow card and then receives a red card in another game is also ejected from the tournament.
3. All games will be 20 minutes long. Teams must be ready when the previous game is over. No practice before games.
4. First team listed on the schedule must change shirts if a color conflict occurs.
5. Coaches must register teams at least 20 minutes before their first game at the scorekeeper desk.
6. Player awards will be awarded to the teams playing in the Finals. 8 trophies will be available per team.
7. Points will be awarded as follows:
WIN - 2 POINTS TIE - 1 POINT LOSS - 0 POINTS FORFEITS - 2 POINTS (score 1-0)
8. In the event of a 2-way tie at the end of the opening round the following tiebreakers will be used to determine advancement.
1. Head to Head
2. Least losses
3. Least goals allowed
4. Most goals scored (Max. 4/game)
5. Least number of red cards
6. Least number of yellow cards
7. Most games scoring 3 or more goals
8. Most shutouts
9. Lots will be drawn to determine seeding or advancement.
9. In the event of a 3 or more way tie at the end any round, the following tie breakers will be used to determine advancement.
1. Least losses
2. Least goals allowed
3. Most goals scored (Max. 4/game)
4. Least number of red cards
5. Least number of yellow cards
6. Most games scoring 3 or more goals
7. Most shutouts
Each tiebreaker will be used to eliminate Teams. Example: Teams A, B, and C all have 1 loss. Team A & B scored 7 goals and C scored 6 goals. Team C is eliminated and teams A & B continue down the list of tiebreakers. If there is still a 3 or more way tie at point 7, lots will be drawn to determine the seeding or advancement.
10. Playoffs will be single elimination.
12. If the finals end in a tie, the teams will play a 5-minute overtime period, with the first team to score declared the winner. If the score remains tied, a second 5-minute overtime period will be played, with the first team to score to be declared the winner. If the score still remains tied, a sudden victory shootout will occur.
13. No balls will be permitted in the Arena other than the game ball.
14. No protests are permitted. Decisions of the Referees and tournament committee are final.
